Diana Marie Stevenson, age 67, of Prairie du Chien, Wisc. passed away January 9, 2023. She was born September 17, 1955, in Blue Earth, Minnesota to Boyd and Marlys (Samuelson) Loveless. Diana grew up in Cresco, Iowa and attended Kirkwood College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. On December 11, 1976, she married Michael “Mike” Stevenson. Earlier that year, they moved to Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin where she worked as a florist for Stanley and Mary Lou Garnsworthy. Together, Diana and Mike opened the Great River Outdoor Theatre and raised two children. Diana was a longtime member of the Arbor Day Foundation and the St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Diana was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved gardening and growing beautiful flowers. She loved music, cooking, reading, and caring for her pets, but she most loved spending time with her family. Diana’s fun and charismatic energy brought a smile to everyone around her.

She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her husband of 46 years: Mike; children: Jenny (Chris Treml) Stevenson and Alyssa (Bri) Stevenski; grandchild: Ellie; and four siblings: Mary Engebretson, Janet Larson, John (Peggy) Loveless, and Jim (Gwen) Loveless.

Diana is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers-in-law: Larry Engebretson and Mark Larson.

A celebration of life will be held at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon to follow at the church. A visitation will not be held. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Bloomington is assisting the family.
