Ridge and Valley Beekeepers Club will meet on Sunday, Feb. 5th at 1pm.
Meeting location: Gays Mills Community Commerce Center, 16381 Hwy 131, Gays Mills, WI
Topics to be discussed: Annual elections and how to make money from your hives.

 ‘Ferryville Ag Days’ on February 4-5: The Wooden Nickel Saloon in Ferryville will offer ‘Ferryville Ag Days’ on February 4-5, starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb.4, and 12 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5.
Planned activities include:
Saturday
• 1 p.m.: tractor relay with eating and drinking challenge to follow
• 5 p.m.: Crisse and Mark live music
• 8:30 p.m.: live auction
Sunday
• 12 p.m.: corn hole (bags) competition
There will be 50/50 raffles on both Saturday and Sunday, with proceeds going to the Ferryville First Responders.

Ferryville Soup and Salad Supper February 9 Please join us for a red table cloth event, February 9 at the Ferryville Village Hall from 5-7 PM for our very popular Soup and Salad Supper. Try to come early for the best selection of homemade soups, salads, and desserts. We will look forward to welcoming you. Freewill donations will go 100% to the upgrades to the Ferryville Village Hall. Bathroom renovations have been the first priority for these upgrades, and the work is already progressing. We will see you on February 9!

Lion’s Pancake Breakfast Feb. 5 at River Ridge H.S. The West Grant Lion’s Club will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast Sunday Feb. 5 from 8-11:30 am at the River Ridge High School Cafeteria Along with the regular breakfast fare, homemade baked good will be on sale.

De Soto Lion’s Soup & Salad Supper Feb. 16 De Soto Area Lions Club Tony Spalla Sr. are hsoting a soup and salad supper fund-raiser on February 16, from 5 -7 pm at the De Soto Community Center De Soto, Wis. They will be serving soups, salads, desserts, coffee and water for a free will donation.

Free Dental Care Feb. 11. Local dentists will be hosting the Have a Heart Day on Feb. 11. This is an opportunity for anyone of ANY AGE who has not recently seen a dentist to receive free dental work. Services provided include exams, x-rays, fillings,extractions, and sealants. This will be the 32nd year that Waukon Dental (563- 568-4528) and Family Dentistry Associates of Monona (563-539-4651) are hosting the event and the 28th year Dental Associates of Prairie du Chien (608-326-6886).  For more information and assistance call the numbers provided.
