Terry Alan Krieg, 77, of Guttenberg, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022, at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital.

Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 3, at St. John’s Church in Guttenberg, conducted by Rev. Michael Ashman. Visitation was before services at the church.

Interment was at Ceres Cemetery.

Arrangements were handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg.

Terry was born on August 25, 1945, in Dubuque, the son of Howard and Pauline (Beeh) Krieg.

He graduated from Guttenberg High School and continued his education at Northeast Iowa Community College where he earned a degree in Accounting. He was employed for many years by Martin Marietta at the Clayton sand mine and then worked as a case-worker for the Iowa Department of Human Services in Dubuque until retirement.

Terry loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed his time outdoors. As an avid antique collector, he loved history and sharing his passion with his nieces and nephews. 

Terry will be forever loved and cherished by his sister, Mickie Strader; three nephews, Todd (Stephanie) Strader of Guttenberg, Scott (Joelle) Strader of Evansdale, Eric (Dawn) Strader of Marion; one niece, Megan Strader of Marion; three great-nephews, Conor Strader, Caden Strader, Evan Strader; three great-nieces, Staci Strader, Mara Strader, McKinzie Strader; and many other family and friends. 

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Clark (Ken) Strader Jr.
