GMHC updates masking guidelines

The Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics is updating its masking guidelines. 

"Based on decreased levels of COVID-19 transmission in our communities, GMHC will no longer require patients, guests or visitors to wear a mask while in our facilities, with the following exceptions," said a spokesperson.

•Masks are required within 10 days of a positive COVID-19 test or related exposure.

•Masks are required if you have COVID-19 symptoms. 

“We continue to encourage masking and will offer masks to all patients, guests and visitors. GMHC staff will continue to wear masks in patient rooms, exam rooms, and other areas where direct patient care is being provided,” said the spokesperson. "If community levels of COVID-19 transmission increase, this masking guidelines will be updated.
