Three MFL MarMac softball players have earned Upper Iowa all-conference recognition. Senior Lauren Haberichter was named to the first team, while juniors Savannah Schaller and Ashley Shaw picked up honorable mention nods.

Haberichter led the Bulldogs—and the Upper Iowa Conference—with 187 innings pitched and 35 appearances. All but two of her appearances were starts. Haberichter racked up 264 strikeouts in that span, which is third most in Class 2A and fifth most in the whole state. She won nine games—tied for fourth in the conference—and pitched her way to a 4.64 ERA.

The senior was also an important part of the MFL MarMac offensive, hitting in the clean-up role. She amassed a team-high .360 batting average and .472 on-base percentage along with 31 hits and 17 walks—both second most among Bulldog players. Her 29 RBIs were fifth most in the conference and tops on the team.

Schaller played in 35 games for MFL MarMac, with time in the outfield and later at first base. Her .305 batting average was second highest on the team, and she also had an impressive .351 on-base percentage. Additionally, Schaller led the Bulldogs with 32 hits and scored the second most runs, at 19. She knocked in 10 runs and swiped four bases.

Shaw earned a .372 on-base percentage over 34 games, largely in the lead-off spot. The shortstop tallied 17 hits, including two doubles and three triples, while drawing a conference-high 23 walks. She stole five bases, crossed home plate 23 times and picked up nine RBIs.
