The Upper Iowa all-conference baseball selections include five MFL MarMac players. Kaden Stocker was named to the first team and Parker Kuehl and Landon Johnson to the second team, while Chauncy Drahn and Jacob Schellhorn were honorable mention picks.

Stocker, one of the Bulldogs’ two seniors, played in 30 games this season. He earned a .417 batting average and .546 on-base percentage in that time, both third highest in the conference. His 51 total bases were fourth most. Stocker’s stat line included team highs in hits, with 35, and walks, at 24. Of his hits, 14 were doubles and one was a triple. Additionally, Stocker tallied a team leading 31 runs and tied for first with 21 RBIs. His 25 stolen bases were the most among all Upper Iowa players.

Stocker also led the MFL MarMac pitching staff, appearing in 12 games and starting 11, which was tops in the conference. Thirty-eight innings pitched placed him third in that category. The senior finished the season with a 5-5 record and 3.79 ERA, while holding opponents to a .256 batting average. His 55 strikeouts were the fifth most in the conference.

Kuehl played in 30 games for MFL MarMac, largely in the lead-off role, and led the team with 89 at bats. The freshman outfielder hit .281 and had a .434 on-base percentage, boosted by 25 hits (second most on the team) and 19 walks. Kuehl joined two other teammates with 21 RBIs and crossed home plate 23 times himself. He was successful on 21 of 24 stolen base attempts, which was third most among Bulldog players.

Johnson, a junior outfielder, racked up 79 at bats over 30 games. His stat line included a .291 batting average and .411 on-base percentage along with 23 hits—10 of which were doubles. He also drew seven walks and was hit nine times, one of the highest totals on the team. Johnson finished the season with 11 stolen bases and 19 runs scored and tied for first in RBIs, at 21.

Drahn hit .256 and earned a .419 on-base percentage through 82 at bats. The senior first baseman compiled 21 hits, including six doubles, along with 13 walks and 10 hit by pitches. He was successful on 22 of 24 stolen base attempts and scored 29 runs, both second highest among MFL MarMac players, and knocked in 15 runs.

Schellhorn played in 27 games, spending time on the mound and at shortstop. Offensively, he hit .288 and had a .456 on-base percentage in 52 at bats. The freshman picked up 15 hits and 14 walks, drove in 12 runs and led the team in sacrifices, with four. He also swiped eight bases and scored 13 runs.

Schellhorn made 12 pitching appearances, eight of which were starts. His 38 and one-third innings were second most on the team, behind just Stocker. He finished the season 2-3, with a 4.57 ERA and 38 strikeouts.
