It was a rocky start to the season for the Central softball team, which dropped last week’s opening game 12-0 to Edgewood-Colesburg. 

 

The Warrior pitching staff walked seven, gave up 12 hits and struck out five batters, while the offense struck out 10 times and managed just two hits. Additional stats were not available. 

 

The Warriors head back to the field on June 1, with a double-header versus South Winneshiek. They will head to a tournament at East Buchanan on June 4.
