A man who lived in Ukraine and left one week before the war broke out there will be giving a presentation on Friday, May 13, at Huckleberry’s Restaurant in Prairie du Chien. 

A luncheon will be sponsored by the Prairie du Chien Rotary Club at 12 p.m., and then speaker Maurice Redwine will give his talk around 12:30 p.m. He plans a short slide presentation and then will take questions. The community is welcome.

“This is not political. This is simply a man speaking about his experiences about Ukraine,” said Rotarian Bill Wessling. 

The lunch can be purchased at Huckleberry’s and will include croissants, salad, wraps, potato salad and dessert.
