Central golfers defeat MFL MarMac

Jordan Helgerson posted a 55 at the April 11 meet, as Central’s lone male golfer.

Runner up Alexis Fettkether shot a 51 at last week's meet.

Central had its first golf meet of the season on April 11, against MFL MarMac. 

 

The girls defeated the Bulldogs 216-270, with medalist Haley Frieden shooting a 50 and runner up Alexis Fettkether shooting a 51. 

 

Sophia Keppler had the third best score of the day, with a 52, while Makayla Erickson shot a 63.

 

With just one golfer, in Jordan Helgerson, the Central boys were unable to post a team score against MFL MarMac, who won the meet with a 176. 

 

Helgerson finished with a 55. Bulldog co-medalists Joe Grau and Gabe McGeough shot 43s, and Nick Krambeer was the runner up with a 44.
