The Central Warriors volleyball team played one game last week, losing 3-1 at West Central. The Warriors won the first set 25-21, then lost the next three 25-20, 25-23 and 25-17.

Isabelle Groth led the Central attack, smashing nine of the team’s 26 kills. Lexi Loan added five and Gracie Cummer and Alyson Feickert each had four.

Giorgia Baiguini was the Warrior’s assist leader, with 13, followed by Elizabeth Royer with nine.

Anchoring the team’s back row defense were Feickert and Loan, who had 21 and 20 digs, respectively. Alivia Keppler chipped in nine and Royer six. Chelsia Larson netted three digs along with Central’s lone block.

Four Central players had serve efficiencies over 93 percent, including a 16-17 clip by Baiguini, who earned three of the team’s seven aces. Loan completed 14 of 15 attempts and also had three aces, while Royer was a perfect 14-14 and Keppler a perfect 11-11.
