Iowa school board and municipal elections will be held Tuesday, Nov. 2. Local voters will go to the polls to fill vacancies on the Clayton Ridge school board and Guttenberg city council. The filing deadline was Sept. 16, and the following will be listed on the ballot.

School board: Six candidates filed for three seats on the Clayton Ridge School Board of Directors. They are Jessica Bittner, Sam Brandt, Stephen T. Dikkers, Michael W. Finnegan, Chris Meier, and Jason Reimer.

Finnegan and Reimer are incumbents. The third seat is currently held by Kathy Ihde, who did not file for re-election. She has served on the board since 2006. Guttenberg city offices: Fred Schaub is the lone candidate for the mayor's seat. He currently serves on the city council. Mayor Bill Frommelt did not file for re-election.

Five candidates have filed for three seats on the city council: Stephan Bahls, Michelle Geuder, Virginia Saeugling, Mark Herman and Mandy Ludovissy. Saeugling currently serves on the council; the other council terms expiring are currently held by Mick Pierce and Fred Schaub.
