Linda K. Caspersen
Linda K. Dohse Caspersen, 68, of Garnavillo, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 25, 2021. Linda was born on Feb. 19, 1953, to Robert and Iris (Frye) Dohse, joining brothers Kevin and Mark. She grew up in McGregor and graduated from MarMac High School in 1971. She received her associate’s degree in accounting in 1973 at WWTC in LaCrosse, Wis. In September of 1973, she was blessed with a son, Jeremy Carl. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Ron Caspersen, in October of 1979. In August of 1981, she was blessed with a daughter, Shelly Ann.
Linda spent most of her working life as the city clerk in Garnavillo, finishing her working years at Top Gun Customs in Garnavillo. She enjoyed bowling and fishing, but what she really loved most was spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Ron Caspersen of Garnavillo; her children, Jeremy Dohse of McGregor and Shelly Mack of Garnavillo; her grandchildren, Jordan Kuhse, Braedyn Dohse, Tyler Dohse, Alexander Mack and twins Keylee and Kylee Caspersen; as well as her parents, Robert and Iris Dohse of Clayton; brother, Kevin Dohse of Soldiers Grove, Wis.; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.
Preceding her in passing were a brother Mark Dohse, grandson Matthew Crary, brother-in-law Rick Caspersen, niece Kelsey Caspersen, mother-in-law Leola Brady, fathers-in-law Irvin Caspersen and Pat Brady, as well as well as her grandparents and other family members.
Arrangements are being handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Garnavillo, where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, July 5. Funeral service will be at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 5, Rev. Hillary Burns-Kite officiating. Interment will be at Clayton Cemetery, Clayton.
