Carolyn Le Ingham, age 80, of Prairie du Chien, Wis., passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien. She was born April 6, 1941, in Fonda, the daughter of Charles and Cecelia (O’Brien) Mason. She attended St. Mary’s Academy, where she graduated in the class of 1959. She later married Ronald Ingham on July 29, 1961, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in McGregor. They raised their family of four in Georgetown, Ill., then lived in the Madison area for many years where she worked as a sales manager. Over the years, she also worked at the Pink Elephant in Marquette, as a certified nursing assistant in Christman, Ill., and at Bluff View Intermediate School in Prairie du Chien, Wis. She was an amazing mother who loved spending time with her children and family. She also enjoyed boating, camping and traveling to Maine to visit family. 

 

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ron Ingham; their daughters, Paula (Jim) Ingham Bourque, Kalina (Stephen) Ingham and Angie Ingham; her siblings, Charlie (Norma) Mason, Michael (Jane) Mason, James (Janis) Mason, Dennis (Laurie) Mason, Marilyn Possehel and Mary Klink; her grandchildren, Bailey and Casey Bourque; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Mark Edward Ingham; her brothers, Tim and Patrick Mason; and her sister, Maggie Mason. 

 

A mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, June 12, at 11:30 a.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in McGregor, Rev. Christopher Podhajsky officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services. There will be a luncheon reception following at the Backwoods Events Center in McGregor.
