Jadyn Jenks of Prairie du Chien competes in the 1600-meter run in Boscobel Thursday.

In a very unusual Thursday morning/afternoon meet in Boscobel with a total of 24 teams, the Prairie du Chien girls were up first.

Life has no limitations, except the ones you make as Madi Fisher nailed a “PR - 13.39” for 2nd place in the 100m, 8th place in the 200m with another “PR - 28.58” and 10th in the 400m run. The two most powerful warriors are Patience and Time as Kori Jaynes picked up 12th in the 100m, 16th in the 200m, and 19th in the 400m runs. “Live Colorfully” as Teagan Radloff picked up 2nd place in the Triple Jump with a new “PR - 32’8.00” and 7th in the 200m run. The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing as Meg Katzung picked up 2nd place in the Pole Vault and 6th place in the Long Jump. Life’s challenges wouldn’t be called hurdles if there wasn’t a way to get over them as Paige Schneider picked up 14th in the 100 High Hurdles with a new “PR - 19.43”, 10th in the 300 Hurdles, and 22nd in High Jump. Losers see barriers, winners see hurdles as Lejla Kamberi picked up 29th in the 100 High Hurdles and 20th in the 300 Hurdles. Those who don’t jump will never fly as Shayla Straka picked up 11th place in the Long Jump and 6th place in the Triple Jump. Know your limitations and defy them as Josie Kramer picked up 12th place in the Long Jump and Sadie Torgerson picked up 16th in the Pole Vault with a new “PR - 7’0”. A flower never competes with other flowers, it just opens and blooms as Nicole Rickleff picked up 8th in Shot Put and 14th in Discus, Eva Keene picked up 17th in Shot Put and 23rd in Discus and Clare Teynor picked up 10th in Shot Put. Keep calm and run as Eowyn Earle picked up 35th in the 800m with a “PR - 3:15.95”, Jadyn Jenks picked up 10th in the 1600m (just missing her PR), and Mikayla Gilberts picked up 49th in the 100m run. In relays, the 4x100 (Doeseckle, Torgerson, Thompson, Rickleff) placed 15th. In the 4x400 (Kramer, Thompson, Radloff, Katzung) placed 9th, and in the 4x800 (Thompson, Kramer, Straka, Katzung) placed 7th on the night.

On the boys side of the morning/afternoon, the sun continued to shine bright as it heated up to 94 degrees. With self-discipline, almost anything is possible as Trystan Nesvold had a heated day by picking up a new “PR - 12.83” in the 100m, 27th place in the 200m, a new “PR - 1:01.26” in the 400m run and another new “PR - 16’2.75” in the Long Jump. The best smiles come after the toughest runs as Thomas O’Brien was hitting on all cylinders by running a new “PR - 13.76” in the 100m, a new “PR - 28.06” in the 200m, and another “PR - 1:02.86” in the 400m runs. “Skies the Limit” as Ryan Wall picked up 7th (tie) in Pole Vault and 8th in Discus, Kurt Wall picked up 7th (tie) in Pole Vault and 12th in the 200m run, and Lucas Kramer picked up 13th in the Pole Vault and 12th in the 800m with a new “PR - 2:21.55” on the day. We were born to run as Max Anthony picked up 14th in the 800m, Bryce Priebe picked up 19th in the 800m with a new “PR - 2:28.31” and 30th in Long Jump. We spin, we win. We throw, we grow as Max Schneider hit a new “PR - 89’4” in Discus, 24th place in Shot Put, and 31st in Long Jump and Brogan Brewer finished 45th in 100m and 35th in Shot Put on the day. Dream without Fear, Run without Limits as Spencer DeHart picked up 9th place in the 1600m and Lee Steiger picked up 13th place in the 3200m run. In the 4x800 relay (Anthony, Priebe, DeHart, Kramer) picked up 12th on the night.
