On a beautiful evening, the temperature at 81 degrees, the girls laced up their spikes and hit the track running. The will to win means nothing if you haven’t the will to prepare as Meg Katzung picked up 1st place wins in the 3200m (PR-13:32) and Pole Vault (8’0”) on the evening. Once they say set, I’m in beast mode as Madi Fisher pounded out PR’s in the 100m (3rd place), 200m (4th place), and 400m (5th place). My fastest time? I haven’t run it yet as Teagan Radloff hit PR’s in the Triple Jump with a 1st place (32’3.75) and 400m with a 2nd place (1:04.70) on the night. Running through life chasing my dream as Shayla Straka picked up PR’s in the Triple Jump with a 2nd Place (30’5.75”), and 7th in the Long Jump (13’10”). I breathe in strength and breathe out weakness as Angell Meredith hit PR’s in 100m (15.21) and Long Jump (12’1”). Eat, Sleep, and Run as Kori Jaynes picked up 8th in the 100m (14.39) and Lejla Kamberi hit a PR in the 100m with (17.08) on the evening.
