Carroll P. Ehrhardt
Carroll Paul Ehrhardt, 68, of Richland Center, Wis., died Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at the Richland Hospital. He was born on July 22, 1952, in Elkader, the son of William and Patricia (Mather) Ehrhardt. Carroll graduated from Central Community of Elkader High School in 1970, where he was active in FFA, along with 4-H. He attended Iowa State University from 1970-1971. Carroll was a fifth-generation farmer on the Ehrhardt farm, where he was proud of his Angus cattle. He later moved to Richland County and was very proud of his dairy farm and his rotation grazing practices.
Carroll is survived by his three children: Eric (Mary) Ehrhardt of Bangor, Wis., Lanette (Nathan) Knoll of Bangor, Wis., and John (Sara) Ehrhardt of Richland Center, Wis; five grandchildren: Lucille, Kip, Cassidy, Carson and Carly; mother: Patricia Breitsprecher of Monona; sisters and brother: Ruth Ehrhardt of Cedar Rapids, Donna (Daniel) Ryherd of Weber City and Mark (Coral) Ehrhardt of Monona; and many other relatives and friends.
Carroll was preceded in death by his father, William, and sister-in-law, Sandra Ehrhardt.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, April 19, at 11 a.m., at Peace United Church of Christ, Elkader. Burial will follow in the Eastside Cemetery in Elkader. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 19, at the Peace United Church of Christ from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
