PdC School Board member resigns

The resignation of school board member Duane Rogers was accepted by the Prairie du Chien School Board during its regular meeting Monday night.
No action was taken by the board regarding the vacancy created by the resignation by Rogers. There will be a vote at the April 26 board meeting, however, regarding people who are interested in filling the vacancy.
Rogers was on the school board from 2015-2018 and 2020-2021.
In other business:
•It was noted that the open enrollment application deadline for parents is April 30.
•The proposed co-op wrestling program with River Ridge was tabled until April 1, 2022.
•No action was taken regarding filling the vacancy created by the recent resignation of Hillary Day as Bluff View second through fourth-grade principal. All candidates for the position have to be notified before it becomes public.
•During the April 26 board meeting, newly elected board member Dustin Brewer will take the oath of office.
