Brookwood stops SWS Blue-Golds
Brookwood defeated host Seneca/Wauzeka-Steuben 14-0 in a Scenic Bluffs Conference football game Thursday night in Wauzeka.
Brookwood scored on a 5-yard run in the first quarter and the extra point was good as Brookwood took a 7-0 lead.
Brookwood had a 17-yard touchdown run and a PAT in the third period to increase the margin to 14-0.

Seneca/Wauzeka-Steuben gained 86 yards rushing and 24 yards passing for the game.
Evan Payne rushed 7 times for 34 yards and Ethan Karnopp gained 26 yards on 6 carries for the Blue-Golds. Payne completed 2 of 5 passes for 24 yards. Brennan Wallin caught 2 passes for 24 yards.

Evan Payne had 19 total tackles in the contest, including 10 solo. Brennan Wallin recorded 17 tackles (5 solo). Joey Oppriecht had 12 tackles (5 solo). Michael Zinkle had 9 tackles (3 solo). Ethan Karnopp had 9 tackles (2 solo).

Seneca/Wauzeka-Steuben will next host Cashton in Seneca on April 9. It will be the third game of the season.
