On Saturday, March 27, at 4:10 p.m., the Crawford County Dispatch Center was notified of a two-vehicle crash on Highway 18 by Walmart.

Alissa M. Barr, 17, Lancaster, was driving a 2008 Ford Fusion north on Highway 18. She failed to yield to a 2017 Chevy Trax SUV driven by Angelia L. Garza, 42, Prairie du Chien, that was turning into Walmart.

Garza sustained back and wrist injuries.

Barr sustained head and leg injuries. Her passenger, Lydia J. Fry, 16, Viroqua, sustained a right leg injury.

All were taken by rescue squad to Crossing Rivers Health and treated.

Both vehicles sustained disabling damage.

Barr was cited for failure to yield right of way.
