Theodore P. “Ted” Breuer, 71, of Woodman, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse. 

He was born on Oct. 1, 1949, in Prairie du Chien, the son of Christopher “Chris” and Patricia “Patty” (Nies) Breuer. Ted graduated from West Grant High School in 1967, where he excelled in basketball, baseball, and cross country. He was employed at Kussmaul Seeds and farmed with his brother, Jerry, on the Breuer family farm. Ted was later employed at Milk Specialties in Boscobel and retired from Cabela’s. He enjoyed golfing with his friends and the occasional trip to the Casino. Ted was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed. 

Survivors include his siblings, Darlene (Pete) Linden, Jerry (Joan) Breuer, Diane Breuer; two sisters-in-law, Kay Breuer and Lori (Lewy) Budworth; a brother-in-law, Bill (Marilee) Scott; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Chris and Patty, Ted was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Scott; two brothers, Ted’s twin Terry and Dennis; two nieces, Stephani Linden and Melissa Breuer Fry; and a nephew, Christopher Breuer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 13, at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Patch Grove with Father John Meinholz officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Patch Grove. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of services at the church. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home and Crematory in Bloomington is entrusted with his care.
