The McGregor-Marquette Chamber of Commerce is conducting a community survey. Feedback is welcome from not only current McGregor and Marquette residents and business owners, but those who have roots in the towns, live in neighboring communities or visit the area for work or pleasure.
“We feel community input is important in order to enhance the area and what we have to offer,” said McGregor-Marquette Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jessica Goltz. “It can also improve quality of life.”
The survey can be accessed on the “McGregor-Marquette, Iowa” Facebook page or at www.mcgreg-marq.org; simply click on the “community survey” tab at the top of the page.
Participants will be asked demographic information about themselves and details about their visits, as well as questions on what they like about the area and the activities they enjoy in Marquette and McGregor. People can also share their thoughts on events, amenities or businesses they’d like to see and how to improve quality of life.
Goltz said the chamber will use information gathered from the survey to develop a strategic plan for 2021 and beyond.
“It will help ensure goals are met,” she noted.
