Mark A. Dohse, 68, of Houston, Texas, formerly of McGregor, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020, in Houston. 

Mark was born Nov 30, 1951, in Prairie du Chien, the son of Bob and Iris Dohse. Mark graduated from Mar Mac High School in 1969. Mark served in the the United States Navy after graduating high school. Following the service, Mark attended the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in Socorro, N.M. He graduated in 1975. Mark worked for Texas Instruments and traveled all over the world as a sizemologist finding oil wells. 

Mark is survived by two sons, Steve (Aerial) Link and Chris (Kim) Dohse, both of Houston, Texas; his parents, Bob and Iris Dohse, of Clayton, Iowa; brother, Kevin Dohse of Soldiers Grove; sister, Linda (Ron) Caspersen, of Garnavillo, Iowa; grandchildren, Adrian, Paisley, and Gabe; nephews, Jeremy and Tyson; nieces, Shelly and Shivhan; and great-nephews, Alexander and Rowan; and great-nieces, Keylee and Kylee. many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mark was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ray and Doris Dresden; his maternal grandparents, John and Lucille Frye; and several aunts and uncles.

Services were held on Nov. 18, in Houston. Burial was in Veterans Cemetery, Houston, Texas. Mark will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
