David Arden Bean, 67, of Bagley, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at Divine Rehab and Nursing in Fennimore.

David was born on July 4, 1953, to Arden and Mary (Campbell) Bean of Bagley. David farmed on the family farm, was a CNA, and also worked at MPC in Prairie du Chien for several years. David’s greatest passion was his family farm that he grew up on. He found pride in planting his corn and soybeans and also made sure he stayed busy. David also was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers. He loved watching the Red Green Show and listening to Bob Dylan. David will be missed by many who knew him as an uncle, friend and farmer.

He is survived by his nephew, Christopher (Chealsey) Hampton of Arthur; his niece, Jaimie Hampton of Bloomington; his great nephew, Oliver Hampton; his great niece, Vera Harris; his estranged sister, Barbara Bean (Wachter) of Prairie du Chien; and his aunt Nellie Bouzek of Prairie du Chien.

David was preceded in death by his father, Arden in 2002; his mother, Mary in 2016; and a sister, Diane Bean in 2009.

There will be a private family burial and a celebration of life at a later date.

The family would like to thank Orchard Manor Nursing Home in Lancaster and Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing in Fennimore for the gracious care they gave David these last few months.

Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.
