Maureen Theresa Cain, 60, of Guttenberg, died Sunday, March 26, 2017, at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wis.

Arrangements were handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg. Services will be at a later date. 

Maureen was born on Aug. 21, 1956, in Redding, Calif., the daughter of Merle and Gabriella McKinney.

Maureen grew up in California where she graduated high school and later received some college education in natural resources. On Sept. 13, 2001, Maureen was united in marriage with Jeff Cain at the United Methodist Church in Guttenberg. Maureen had a passion for animals and the beautiful mountain ranges and trees.

She is survived by her husband; Jeffrey Cain; three step-children, Brandy, Laramie and Crystal; nine grandchildren; nephew, Colton; sister, Jeannine and brother, Michael.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers and all types of sympathy, memorials may be directed to the ASPCA in her name.
