Lawrence F. Moser
Lawrence Fredrick Moser, 86 of Edgewood, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home.
Visitation was Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg, and one hour before services at the church.
Funeral services were Thursday, Feb. 16, at United Methodist Church, Guttenberg, conducted by Rev. Michael Jackson.
Interment was at Bethel Cemetery, Colesburg.
Lawrence was born on Sept. 6, 1930, in Osterdock, son of Francis and Bernice Moser.
Lawrence received his education and graduated from Guttenberg High School. For many years, Lawrence was both a farmer and truck driver. He had a passion for old cars during his retirement years.
Those left to cherish his memory and stories are his six children, Bradley Moser, Robert (Susan) Moser, Barbara (Dominic) Shannon, Clay (Kim) Moser, Jody (Joe) May and Francis (Melissa) Moser; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four siblings, F. Jerome (Charlene) Moser, Joanne (Charles) Finch, Eloise (Irvin) Lammers, Lowell (Cindy) Moser. He is also survived by longtime companion and friend, Norma Sauerbry and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline; his parents; sister, Phyllis (Veryl) Morarend, and brother Nathan Moser.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA).
