Ronald L. “Ron” Du Charme, 82, U.S. Army veteran, a resident of Naperville, Ill., since 1995, formerly of Westchester, Ill., passed away on Thursday, Jan, 5, at his home. 

 

He was born Dec. 23, 1934, in Prairie du Chien. Cherished husband of Geraldine B. “Gerry” DuCharme (nee Moryl), whom he married May 7, 1960; beloved father of Catherine (Douglas) Borghoff, of Naperville, and John (Kristen) Du Charme, of Des Plaines, Ill.; loving papa of Hannah, Clara and John; devoted son of the late Lawrence and Grace Du Charme; dear brother of George (the late Betty) Du Charme, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and James (Pat) Du Charme, of Prairie du Chien.

 

Ron had a passion for fishing and hunting on the Mississippi River and spending time with his family.

 

A private memorial service and interment will be held.
