Bernice L. Moser, 83, of Guttenberg, died Monday, Oct. 10, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque.

Visitation was Thursday, Oct. 13, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg and one hour before services at the church.

Funeral services were Friday, Oct. 14, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Guttenberg, conducted by Rev. Shane Anderson.

Interment was at Guttenberg City Cemetery.

Bernice was born on March 27, 1933, in Marquette, Kan., the daughter of John and Ruth Davis. 

Bernice grew up in Lindsborg, Kan. and graduated from high school there. On Dec. 14, 1957, Bernice was united in marriage with Richard Moser at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Guttenberg. For 13 years, Bernice worked at Utah Speaker Company in Guttenberg and was a homemaker for many years. Bernice was a long time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and helped out with many funeral dinners. She enjoyed listening to the different bands in the area, especially the Sounds of Nashville. There was always music on in Bernice’s house, especially old country music. Bernice was also the president of the Osterdock Coffee Club and she truly cherished the fellowship with her friends. 

Bernice is survived by her children, Linda (Chris) Ludovissy and Steve (Cindy) Moser; five grandchildren, Danny, Steven, Nicole, Jesse and Jenna; two step grandchildren, Jody and Jill; three step great-grandchildren, Kara, Joseph and Ryliegh; siblings, Elva (Duane) Dauber, Raymond Davis and many other relatives and friends. 

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Ronald Dean; daughter, Wendy Sue; sisters, Rose, Virginia and Lucille and brother, Melroy.
