Susan Mathews, 64, of Sugar Grove, passed away surrounded by the love and prayers of her family in the early morning hours of Saturday, Sept. 24, at Presence Mercy Center Hospital, Aurora, Ill.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Chojnacki; her loving husband of 34 years, Robert Mathews; two children: Brandon (Terri) Mathews and their children Josephine and Charles and Erin (Stephen) Hill and their son Kolton; one brother, Greg (Judy) Chojnacki; a sister Carol (Joe) Hill; many nieces and nephews and family of friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Chojnacki.

There will be a memorial service on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016, at 7 p.m.  at the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church, 176 Main St., Sugar Grove, IL 60554
