Ann Louise Trudo, 74, of Marquette, Iowa died Monday, June 13, at her home in Marquette, Iowa. 

Ann was the daughter of Philip J. Jenson and Martha (Cole) Jenson and was born on Feb. 16, 1942 in Iowa City. She graduated from Lansing High School in 1960. 

Ann was united in marriage with Eugene Lewis Trudo on Dec. 19, 1970 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in McGregor. Ann worked in Cedar Rapids in the electronics industry in her younger years, she then went and worked for the McGregor Loud Speaker in McGregor and Prairie du Chien, for a few years. Ann also helped Eugene on the dairy farm. They owned and operated Gene’s Marina in McGregor, and then owned and operated The Riverview Bar and Grill in McGregor, Iowa. After selling The Riverview to their son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Brenda, they opened The Pit Stop Bar and Grill and apartment complex in Marquette, Iowa. She could always be found helping at The Riverview in her later years. She loved fishing, playing cards, going to the river boat in Marquette, snowmobiling, veggie and flower gardening and helping on the farm. Ann also enjoyed crocheting, building bird houses and cared for animals and birds. She was a dedicated worker in all of her businesses. 

Ann is survived by her husband of 45 years, Eugene Lewis Trudo; five sons, Eugene Michael (Kate) Trudo of McGregor, Mark Anthony Trudo of Punta Gorda, Fla., Rick E. (Brenda) Trudo of Harpers Ferry, Iowa, Ronn Scott (Sherry) Trudo of Brownsville, Minn. and Danny Lee (Maryann) Trudo of McGregor; one sister, Phyllis (Larry) Bohland of Prairie du Chien; one half-sister, Sandy Bergman of Glenwood, Minn.; eight grandchildren, Troy Trudo of Fort Meyers, Fla., Travis McCulloch of Seneca, Bobbi Jo Reames (special friend, Todd Crotty) of Prairie du Chien, Ely Trudo of Brownsville, Minn., Jessica Trudo of Brownsville, Minn., Marssia Lechtenberg of McGregor, Zachary Trudo of McGregor and Jacob Trudo of McGregor; five great-grandchildren, Braden, Reanna, Broderick, Treyton Reames and Nina Crotty; four nephews, Kevin Bohland of Bridgeport, Gary Bohland of Monona, Gerald Bohland of Boscobel and Ricky Bohland of Prairie du Chien; two great-nephews, Gage and Drake Bohland of Monona and one great-niece, Megan Bohland of Boscobel.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Philip J. and Martha (Cole) Jenson; one granddaughter, Hallie Scarff and one great-granddaughter, Regan Reames. 

Funeral services were Thursday, June 16, at First Congregational Church, McGregor, with Rev. William Gentry as the Officiant.  Burial followed at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, McGregor.
