Ithaca defeated host Wauzeka-Steuben 8-1 in a Ridge and Valley softball game Monday afternoon.

Molly Heisz was 1x3 with a double and a run scored to lead the Lady Hornets.

Siena Krachey and Parker Mindham pitched for Wauzeka-Steuben. Krachey fanned 3 in 3 innings. Mindham whiffed 4 and walked 3 in 4 innings.

A. Clary picked up the win for the Bulldogs. She struck out 15 and allowed 5 hits.

Wauzeka-Steuben will next travel to Weston on April 28.
