Todd Alan Wilker, 53, of Garnavillo, died Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital.

Visitation was Friday, Feb. 19, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Garnavillo.

A private family inurnment will be at a later date.

Todd was born on Dec. 4, 1962, in Prairie du Chien, Wis., the son of Kenneth and Gaye (Frye) Wilker.

Todd grew up in California where he received his education. He later moved back to Iowa where he spent over 15 years working for Roverud Construction. Todd enjoyed fishing, riding horses, clamming and diving in the Mississippi River where he searched for treasures. Todd had a passion for fossils. He collected fossils throughout his life and as a rock crusher operator, he even stopped production occasionally to prevent a unique fossilized rock from being destroyed which was added to his collection. 

Todd will be forever loved and cherished by his mother, Gaye; children, Tyler (Ashley), Tait and Katherine; grandchildren, Gage and Grace Wilker; longtime companion, Linda Horstman; siblings, Stacy (Dan) Fowler, Scott Wilker and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth.

In lieu of flowers and all styles of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established and any contributions may be sent to P.O. Box 474, Garnavillo, IA 52049.
