Lorraine Mabel Moll, 88, of Prairie du Chien, formerly of Wauzeka, passed away on Dec. 4, at Grandview Care Center,  in Blair. 

She was born on Dec. 29, 1926 to Irvin and Josephine (Toberman) Oswald in Prairie du Chien. Lorraine attended country school through the eighth grade near Wauzeka.

Lorraine was united in marriage with Clifton (Bud) Moll on Oct. 28, 1947 in Prairie du Chien. Eight Children were born to this union. She worked at McGregor Speaker and Advanced Transformer in Boscobel. In her retirement she worked for the Boscobel Tree Nursery. Lorraine enjoyed dancing, quilting, telling jokes, cooking, travelling and most of all she loved spending time with her family. She had a big heart and was a hard worker.

Lorraine is survived by her eight children, Floyd (Ann) Moll of Ham Lake, Minn., Suzanne (Eldon) Duha of Whitehall, DuWayne (Patti) Moll of Minnesota, Jan (Chris) Moll of Fennimore, Jeani (Pat) Hiesz of Fennimore, Eloise (Elli) Hiesz of Chetek, Joanne (Dan) Jones of Fennimore and James (Amanda) Moll of Arcadia; twenty-two grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren. 

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Moll in February of 1987; her parents, Irvin and Josephine Oswald; step-mother, Ellen Oswald; two sisters, Pearl and Esther Oswald; a brother, Bob Oswald and a son-in-law, Tom Hiesz.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12, at Eastman Salem United Methodist Church, Eastman, with a two hour visitation before services at the church on Saturday. Pastor Lynn Schreck will be the Officiant. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Eastman.

Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Prairie du Chien, is helping the family with the arrangements.
