Pauline K. McNett, 84, of Cuba City, died Thursday, Sept. 10, at Manor Care in Platteville.

Pauline was born on Oct. 5, 1930, in Darlington, the daughter of Romano and Evelyn (Komprood) Luciani. She married Richard “Dick” McNett on Jan. 29, 1953, at the United Methodist Church in Cuba City. He preceded her in death on June 29, 2003. Pauline farmed with Dick and worked at Advance Transformer until 1973. She then worked at Sentry Foods.

Pauline loved to golf, enjoying tournaments and winning multiple golf championships in Cuba City and Florida. She was extremely proud of her three “holes in one.” Pauline was a very good fast pitch softball player for Burgess Battery in Galena. She was very competitive and loved to win. Some of her favorite past times were spending time with her children and attending her grandchildren’s events. Pauline enjoyed her flowers, going out to eat, shopping, and playing cards, especially euchre. She also enjoyed going on trips and spending her winters in Arcadia, Fla., with Dick. Pauline will be remembered for her sense of humor.

Survivors include her son, Richard (Lisa) McNett, of Platteville; five daughters, Lynn (Dennis) Schroeder, of Madison, Karen Corpian, of The Colony, Texas, Patti (Dale) Dreessens, of Cuba City, Jill (Rockne) Brubaker, of Greenwood, Miss., and Lisa (Joe Culbertson) McNett, of East Dubuque, Ill.; her twin brother, Paul Luciani, of Rewey; fifteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Todd McNett; a son-in-law, Michael Corpian; a great-grandson, Vance Joseph Corpian; two brothers, Bernard Luciani and Romo Luciani Jr; and a sister, Genevieve Russell.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City with Rev. Daniel Verdegan officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

A Pauline K. McNett Memorial Fund has been established.
