Linda E. Hodgson, 68, of Seneca passed away Tuesday, Aug. 18, at the Lakeview Healthcare Center in West Salem, after an extended illness.

She was born June 26, 1947 in Eastman, the daughter of William and Mary (Becwar) Cody. She married Jack Hodgson in 1973 and they later divorced. She taught elementary school in Tennyson, and later in Wauzeka.

She is survived by her daughter Tina (Eric) Moen of Galesville; her siblings Bill (Rosemary) Cody of Fox City, Tom (Sandy) Cody of Mt. Sterling, Ed and Bryan (Martha) Cody both of Seneca, Kay (Cliff) Schmitt of Sun Prairie, Mary (Bill) Cummings of Oklahoma and Jane (Jim) Wall of Prairie du Chien; her grandchildren Nicholas and Jessica Moen. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Jim Cody.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, Aug. 21, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Seneca, Rev. Zacharie Beya officiating, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Friday, Aug. 21, from 10 a.m. until the time of services. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.
