Joseph F. Ingle
Joseph F. Ingle, 83, of Waverly, Iowa, formerly of Wauzeka, died Saturday, May 30, at Shell Rock Healthcare Center in Shell Rock, Iowa.
Joseph was born on May 8, 1932, in Wauzeka, the son of Juanita Evelyn (Weniger) and Mark Matthew Ingle. In 1952, Joe entered the United States Army, were he served during the Korean War, until his honorable discharge in 1954.
Joe is survived by two sisters, Julia Elizabeth “Betty” Keister of Prairie du Chien, and Mary Kathryn Bailey of Ireton, Iowa; two brothers, John LaVerne Ingle of Huron S.D., and Clarence “Buzz” Arthur (Anne) Ingle of Huron, S.D.; a special friend, Iris Clark of Waverly, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Connie (Sands) in 2010; three brothers, Raymond Wagner, George Matthew, and Robert “Bobby” James; and one sister, Myrtle Marie Scott.
According to his wishes, Joe’s body has been cremated. A family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 10, at 1 p.m., at Evergreen Cemetery in Prairie du Chien.
