Pool opening set for Memorial Day

Opening day at the Guttenberg Swimming Pool has been tentatively set for Memorial Day, May 25, weather permitting.

The hours that day will be: 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. for laps; 1:00-5:00 p.m. open swimming; 5:00-6:00 p.m. for laps and 6:00-8:00 p.m., for open swimming.

The rest of the week the pool will only be open during the noon hour and 5:00-6:00 p.m. for laps, and from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for open swimming. Plans call for the schedule to change the first week in June when a 6:00 a.m. lap swim will begin daily and regular summer hours will resume.
