Keith D. Kelly, 66, of Bloomington, died Thursday, May 7, at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien. 

Keith was born Aug. 20, 1948 to Cecil and Lucile (Gordon) Kelly. He attended West Central School and Area I. After being drafted into the United States Army, Keith married Elaine Puffett. Keith served one tour in Vietnam. After leaving the military, he worked various jobs including many years at Exide in Manchester, Iowa. He enjoyed spending time outdoors riding horses, sawing firewood, and gardening. He loved dancing with Elaine and raising their children Amy and Ken. Elaine passed away in 2003. Keith married Mikki Posten in Bloomington, in 2008. They resided in the country and spent many weeks each year traveling the western states.

Keith is survived by his wife, Mikki; his daughter, Amy (Jeff) Grundmeyer; a son, Ken (Carolina) Kelly; grandchildren, Jessica and Jonathan Grundmeyer, Kirsten and Declan Kelly; his sisters, Marion (Lorenz) Behrens, Virginia (Jon) Mitchell, and Judy (Bob) Rothlisberger; a brother, Gordon (Geraldine) Kelly; Mikki's children, Monica (Ken) Hodgson; Pamela Posten; Robert (Karla) Posten; many Posten grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Elaine, and a sister, Marbeth. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 11, at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Bloomington, with Rev. Mary Ann Floerke officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the Cass Township Cemetery, Strawberry Point, Iowa. Family and friends may call on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
