 Kenneth R. Halverson, 80, of Woodman, passed away on Thursday, April 9, at the Richland Hospital in Richland Center.

He was born March 3, 1935, in Waukon Iowa, the son of Martin and Mamie (Warnholtz) Halverson. He married Shirley Anne Demer on March 6, 1959 in Lake Trobe, Pa. She preceded him in death on Dec. 12, 2000. He served in the US Air Force. 

Kenneth is survived by two sons, Roger Halverson of Woodman, Troy (Elaine) Halverson of Blue River; three daughters, Theresa (Tim) Gratz of Boscobel, Holly (Michael) Lippman of Cassville, Brenda (Scott) KIeven of Eastman; nineteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marian (Duane) Meier of Lansing, Iowa, Marilyn (Bill) Macke of Arkansas. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sons Eric, Norris and Kenny Halverson. One daughter Kathryn Halverson. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 13, at 1 p.m. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel with Pastor Lynn Schreck officiating. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery rural Mt. Hope. Friends may call on Monday, April 13, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Military honors will be accorded by the Grey-Wachter-Murphy American Legion Post #229 of Mt. Hope. On line condolence can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com
