Allen R. Benoy, 67, of Cottage Grove, passed away Saturday, March 7, at his home surrounded by family and friends. 

He was born on Feb. 24, 1948, in Prairie du Chien, the son of Clarence J. and Ella Rose Benoy. Allen was united in marriage to Karen for 42 years. 

He is survived by his wife, Karen; sons, Michael and Robert Benoy; a daughter, Becky Benoy; grandsons, Cristian and Kaden; and siblings, Frank (Jackie) Benoy, Donna Benoy, Bill Benoy, Joan (Robert) Allan, Patrick Benoy, Jean (Jerry) Rau, Dian (Arnie) Malsack, Cathy (Tim) Stocks and Joyce Benoy. Allen was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John Benoy; and a sister, Judy Benoy. 

Visitation will be held at Gunderson East Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, with military honors to follow. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
