Seneca tops Wauzeka-Steuben
Seneca bested visiting Wauzeka-Steuben 66-43 in a Ridge and Valley boys basketball clash Friday night.
Seneca led 15-11 in the opening stanza and increased the lead to 31-22 at the half.
The Indians kept the momentum to take the second half 35-21 en route to the victory.
Seneca improved to 9-1 in conference action and 14-3 overall. Wauzeka-Steuben dropped to 3-7 in the Ridge and Valley and 6-11 on the season.
Nick Payne and Kilian Boland each scored 12 points for Seneca. Gavin Greene and Eric Konichek each netted 11.
Jeramiah Huber pumped in a game-high 14 for Wauzeka-Steuben. Jonah Huber added 11.
