Big fourth period propels PdC boys

Prairie du Chien sent visiting Richland Center packing 54-41 in SWC boys basketball Thursday night.

After a slow first period, Prairie led 7-4.

Center came back to take a 19-18 halftime lead.

The Blackhawks got hot in the second half, taking the third quarter 15-11 and the fourth 21-11 to pull away for the victory.

Prairie improved to 5-4 on the season and 1-2 in the SWC. Center dropped to 0-10 and 0-3.

Connor George led all scorers with 17 points. Chas Sagedahl and Casey Hogenson each netted 10.
