Six MFL MarMac runners earn all-conference cross country honors

Bulldogs Skylar Fisk (left), Clare Grau and Brooke Donlon run together in the Oct. 11 conference meet. Fisk and Donlon were a respective 10th and 12th, earning all-conference honors. Grau finished 16th.

Cora Keehner ran her second best time of the season to place seventh in the conference cross country meet.

Dettman reigns as conference cross country champ, Warrior boys runners-up

Gavin Holst placed third individually at the Upper Iowa Conference cross country meet, and led the Central boys to a second-place team finish.

Layla Embretson was 28th at the conference meet, held Oct. 11 at Silver Springs Golf Course in Ossian.

With a 16th-place finish, Jesse Polkinghorn was one of five Warriors who finished inside the top 25 in the boys race.
