Victor Reichmann

Victor N. Reichmann, 77, of Wauzeka, passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, at the Prairie Maison in Prairie du Chien. 

He was born July 1, 1942, the son of Edwin and Viola (Hurda) Reichmann. 

Victor graduated from Wauzeka High School, then Platteville University with a degree in biology and a minor in art. He taught biology, coached baseball, and coached basketball in area schools a few years. Victor then worked in the art supply stores in Milwaukee and Boscobel. In his most recent years, he worked with produce and plants, especially flowers, which he sold at area farmers markets. His talent as an artist and great knowledge of produce and plants will be long remembered.

Lawrence 'Larry' Graap

Lawrence J. “Larry” Graap, 72, of Dodgeville and formerly of Prairie du Chien, passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2019, at Upland Hills Hospital in Dodgeville. 

He was born Feb. 16, 1947, the son of Lawrence and Violet (Young) Graap. 

Larry worked as a linesman for General Telephone and later in technical support at GTE for over 35 years. He was a past member of the Lions Club and served as an alderman for the city of Dodgeville. Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as a good game of euchre.

Susan Kielley

Susan Esther (Gennerman) Kielley, 62, of Bagley, passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, at Agrace Hospice Center in Fitchburg, after a short, valiant fight with cancer. 

Susie was born on Sept. 15, 1957, in Oconomowoc, the second of five children of Vic and Harriet (Tetzlaff) Gennerman. She spent her early years on their farm and was a student at St. Paul’s Lutheran School, Oconomowoc. When she was 14 years old, her family purchased a farm near Watertown, and she attended Lakeside Lutheran High School. After high school, Susie attended Martin Luther College, in New Ulm, Minn.

Mary Dianne Cosentino

Mary Dianne Cosentino, 79, of Elkhart, Ind., died Monday, Oct. 21, 2019 at Elkhart General Hospital. 

Dianne was born on March 7, 1940, in Prairie du Chien, to the late Thomas F. Farrell and Juanita (Heberer) Farrell. She enjoyed golfing and was a member of Elcona Country Club. Dianne was an active member at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, where she was involved in many of the church’s ministries. Dianne graduated from St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Madison, and after became a registered nurse. She was also active with the Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana.

Patricia 'Pat' Marie Colsch

Patricia “Pat” Marie Colsch, 71, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, at Prairie Maison in Prairie du Chien. 

She was born on Oct. 6, 1948, at Vernon Memorial Hospital to Clayton and Harriett (Eckern) Fish. Pat grew up near Viroqua, where she attended and graduated from Viroqua School in 1966. She married David Kansier, and four children were born to this union. They later divorced. Pat then married Darrel Colsch, they later divorced but reunited.

Roger W. Schildgen, 75, of Glen Haven, died on Monday Oct. 21, 2019, at the Grandview Healthcare Center in Oelwein, Iowa, after his courageous battle with Lou Gehrig’s disease. 

Roger was born on April 25, 1944, in Lancaster, the son of Raymond and Stella (Schmit) Schildgen.

Keith Harville

Keith Harville, 94, of Prairie du Chien, passed away Monday, Oct. 21, 2019, at Crossing Rivers Health. 

He was born July 17, 1925, the son of Harry and Isadora (Brodt) Harville. 

Keith served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He married Ruby Hohstadt on Oct. 14, 1947, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. He and his wife farmed many years in Patch Grove Township. Keith later retired from 3M Company in Prairie du Chien. He belonged to the Patch Grove American Legion, the West Grant Saddle Club and the Patch Grove United Methodist Church. Keith also served on the West Grant School Board. Ruby preceded him in death on Feb. 28, 2015.

Ronald F. Wittbrodt

Ronald F. Wittbrodt, 78, of Prairie du Chien, passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019, at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, following a brief illness. 

He was born Dec. 10, 1940, in Bay City, Mich., the son of Casimir and Marjorie (Weber) Wittbrodt. He married the love of his life, Patricia Williams, on March 9, 1962, in St. Joseph, Mo. Ron worked as a master electrician, mainly for H & H Electric, until his retirement in 2008.  Ron was a member of the IBEW.
