Cindy Riniker, Crawford County health officer, strongly recommends everyone to postpone or cancel personal travel, which is considered non-essential, outside of Wisconsin and outside of Crawford County until further notice.Documented cases and widespread transmission of COVID-19 are growing rapidly here in Wisconsin as well as nationwide and internationally.
Crawford County Emergency Management posted on its Facebook page Monday that it is looking to compile a list of volunteers willing to assist in the COVID-19 response (should they be needed).
People with prior health care training are encouraged to join the list as well.

Crawford County Health and Emergency Management officials report that Coronavirus (COVID-19) testing is currently taking place in Crawford County, in accordance with the following Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) guidelines.
There are three candidates running for two seats on the Prairie du Chien School Board in the April 7 election. The top two vote-getters will each be elected to three-year terms. Nick Gilberts is the incumbent. Board member Kyle Kozelka is not running for re-election. Former board member Duane Rogers and newcomer Kristin Davis round out the field.
