A 29-year-old Prairie du Chien man charged with homicide had his initial appearance in Crawford County Circuit Court Wednesday, July 22 beginning at 3 p.m.

The Crawford County Health Department is warning the public about a fake “FEMA Essential Workers Compensation” link circulating on social media. It claims that every essential worker will be compensated $1,000 for every week worked since March 1.
FEMA said these texts and emails were being shared last week.
