Logan Brown (220), Konnor Barat-Klimesh (113), Andrew Heins (126), Kashton Mathis (145) and Austin Nickolai (182) all secured big falls for MFL MarMac, while Gabe McGeough (170) and Jacob Trudo (285) added to the total with wins via forfeit.

The final dual of the night, against Sumner-Fredericksburg, wasn’t nearly as close. MFL MarMac won 60-24, behind falls from Brown, Holden Mathis, Heins, Radloff, Kashton Mathis, McGeough and Michael Knickerbocker, who was wrestling at 182 pounds. Trudo, Barat-Klimesh and Decker picked up wins by forfeit.
Lerch, Klenk, Koehn and Schlee all lost by fall.
On Dec. 19, the Bulldogs competed in the 10-team Regina Invitational in Iowa City, easily winning first place. MFL MarMac racked up a team score of 246.5 points, far ahead of second-place finisher Pekin with 124 points. Sigourney-Keota was third with a score of 123.
No MFL MarMac wrestlers finished below fourth place at the tournament. In fact, the team had four champions, including Radloff at 132 pounds, Decker at 138, McGeough at 160 and Trudo at heavyweight.
Placing second in their respective weight classes were Klenk and Barat-Klimesh, while Holden Mathis, Heins, Kashton Mathis and Koehn all finished third.
