Jack Ray Renner, 80, of Prairie du Chien, passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien. 

He was born Jan. 16, 1940, in Waterloo, Iowa. Jack served in the Army for four years, worked at John Deere for 32 years and owned the Lakeview Bar and Restaurant for 36 years. Jack was the greatest fisherman to cast a line and the greatest hunter to shoulder a gun. His legacy will live on through his children and grandchildren. His stories that he told to everyone that he met will go on forever.

He is survived by four sons, David Renner, Rich (Pam) Renner, Randy (Cami) Renner, and John Renner; one daughter, Shelly (Gregg) Ritter; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Joey, Brittany, Chelsey, Carley, Kayla, Tiffany, Matthew, and Ashley; and several great-grandchildren. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of 63 years, Diana. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Garrity Funeral Home, of Prairie du Chien, is assisting the family.
