Class of 2020 graduations happening soon locally
Local high school graduations ceremonies were postponed in May, amid fears of spreading the coronavirus. But schools have these pivotal events back on their calendars for late this month into July.
Leading the charge is Wauzeka-Steuben, which has scheduled its Class of 2020 recognition for Saturday, June 27, at 11 a.m., on the high school football field.
Next, River Ridge High School graduation will be held Friday, July 3, at 8 p.m., at the Bloomington Fairgrounds. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved into the River Ridge High School gymnasium.
On Friday, July 10, Seneca’s graduating class is expected to be honored at 7 p.m. on the high school football field, weather permitting. Otherwise, it will be moved inside to the gym.
MFL MarMac is hosting its Class of 2020 Diploma Ceremony also on Friday, July 10, at its high school football field in Monona, at 7 p.m.
Prairie du Chien High School’s graduation is set for Sunday, July 12, inside the new fieldhouse at the high school, at 2 p.m.
