Owen Armstrong, 5 months, 7 days, son of Billy and Catherine Armstrong, passed away peacefully in the arms of his parents on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at home in Rochester, Minn. Owen was born on Dec. 23, 2019, to Billy and Catherine (Frailey) Armstrong in Rochester, Minn.

Owen always did things on Owen’s time. He loved butt pats, head rubs, dancing with mom to Michael Buble, being naked, having his hands by his face, being sung to, having books read to him, looking at his mobile and listening to Disney lullabies with his nurses. Owen was silly like his big brother and he loved to tease his mom and dad by only smiling when their cameras were put away so they couldn’t be caught on camera. In Owen’s 159-day journey on earth, he made many friends, who happened to be his NICU and PICU nurses and his respiratory therapists. Some nights he would stay awake all night just so he could party all night with his nurses. Owen had deep dark eyes that, when he looked at you, your heart melted. Owen had a short life, but it was filled with love and prayers. He was the definition of strong and he fought as long as he could for his mom and dad. He was their little warrior.

Owen is survived by his parents, Billy and Catherine Armstrong of Rochester, Minn.; one brother, Kayden Armstrong; paternal grandparents, Ann and Gary Armstrong of Elkader and Jerome Kuehl of Edgewood; maternal grandparents, Lori Frailey of Prairie du Chien, Wis., and Mark Frailey of State College, Penn.; paternal great-grandparents, Betty and Lawrence Kuehl of Elkader.; aunts and uncles, Debra (Michael) Johnson, Amy Berry (Arthur Harrill), Colby Frailey, Andrew (Kara) Armstrong and Chelsea Armstrong (Tyler Hanson).

Owen was preceded in death by many great-grandparents.
