Reopening guidelines for Clayton County businesses
Submitted by the Clayton County Board of Health
Governor Reynolds’ proclamation on April 27 allowed specific counties to re-open select types of businesses and establishments. Clayton County is one of 77 counties allowed to re-open with specific regulations.
The Clayton County Healthcare Coalition would like to remind employees and customers of current recommendations:
•Social Distancing – maintain a distance of 6-feet from the person next to you
•Practice frequent hand washing, cover your cough with a tissue or your arm
• Stay home if you are ill or running a fever at 100.4 F (38 C) or higher
• Stay home if you are considered in a high-risk health group—elderly, have cardiac or pulmonary conditions, etc.
•Wear a mask when out in the public
• Consider posting a sign on your business door or window asking customers to wear a mask upon entry.
